At Little Giggles Co. we understand the importance of creating sustainable products that are good for the environment and conscientious consumers.

We are dedicated to using materials from sustainable sources and avoiding plastic in our products whenever possible.

Sustainability

We use natural materials such as bamboo, beechwood, and other renewable resources to create products without sacrificing quality or durability. This means our products are not only better for the environment, they’re also made to last!

Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond reducing plastic consumption. We strive to ensure that all of our practices align with eco-friendly values, including processes such as packaging and transportation.

We believe in transparency when it comes to sustainability, which is why we constantly monitor our environmental impact and seek ways to improve it. Being sustainable isn’t just an ideal – it’s something we take seriously every day when it comes to creating products that you can trust without compromising the environment or your values.

Little Giggles Co. Sustainable Packaging

Packaging

We are committed to sustainability and building a more eco-friendly future for the planet and our little humans. We strive to create products that are mindful of the environment, making sure that our boxes, stickers, tissue paper, and padded mailers are made from renewable sources and can be recycled or home compostable.

Our boxes are made from FSC-Certified materials and printed with compostable, non-toxic inks. Our boxes are home compostable and curb-side recyclable – meaning you can easily collect them for disposal or reuse.

Our stickers are also made with environmentally friendly materials – acid free paper is made from cellulose fibre so ink won’t transfer onto surfaces, and since it is lignin-and sulphur-free there will be no chemicals leaching into the environment when decomposing.

Furthermore, our tissue paper is 100% recyclable & biodegradable making it even easier to dispose of responsibly. All our papers are acid free & chlorine free so it won’t damage any delicate items.

Finally, our padded mailers are plastic free - making them an even better alternative for packaging your products! They’re 100% recyclable & biodegradable as they’re made entirely out of paper & glue so you can be rest assured knowing you're using a product that has minimal environmental impact.

We know how important it is to reduce waste & protect the planet - which is why we take such great care in making sure that all our packaging solutions align with our values of sustainability!

Silicone Baby Gifts Gift Set for Baby Boys and Baby Girls by Little Giggles Co

Silicone

But you use silicone products, isn't silicone bad?

Well, we think No! We think it is a far better material than plastic, as long as it is responsibly handled! Let us tell you what we believe…

Silicone is an environmentally friendly material compared to plastic for many reasons. Firstly, silicone does not contain any toxic substances such as BPA or phthalates, which are present in many plastics, making silicone a much safer choice for baby & toddler gifts.

Additionally, silicone is more durable than many types of plastic, meaning it will last longer with less maintenance. Reducing the need for constant repurchasing and manufacturing processes is better for the environment, and better for families, as products can be cleaned properly and passed down.

Silicone can be recycled and reformulated many more times than many plastics, especially single use plastic. Recently this has become easier due to the introduction of new technologies that allow the recycling of silicone into brand new products like  industrial lubricant oil or lower-grade products.. This makes silicone a much better option than plastic when it comes to reducing waste generated by consumer products.

Silicone is arguably an eco-friendly option only in the context of the severe refuse problem that plagues our planet. As long as consumers contact their municipal waste management services to see if they accept and recycle silicone products and they are recycled in the proper way then the effect on the environment is less than plastic waste and micro-plastics.
